I am Assistant Professor of Development Economics at Witten/Herdecke University (Germany).

My main research interests are development macroeconomics (mainly economic growth, trade policy), political and economic institutions, and sustainable development ( agriculture and environment) with a regional focus on Sub-Sahara Africa. I am also interested in causal inference.
